Crack needs a Production Manager

The Crack Theatre Festival – part of This Is Not Art (TiNA) – is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our technical operations.

The Production Manager is responsible for sourcing and installing appropriate production and technical equipment for the Crack Theatre Festival, based on the requirements of the artists programmed. The performance spaces are non-traditional, non-theatre spaces and will require some creative thinking to set them up (this may include finding ways to get around lack of 3-phase power!).

The work presented at the Festival will be by experimental and emerging artists, and will consist of performances, forums, panels and workshops. There will be a wide range of works including spoken word, installations, tech-heavy movement pieces and equipment-heavy aerial circus works.

The Production Manager will have:
• Experience working in a festival context
• Strong understanding of contemporary performance and theatre
• Proven ability to work under time constraints
• Ability to manage a voluntary team with mixed skill set
• Current Driver’s license
