281215 is a reflection of the artist’s recent move from Singapore to Sydney, Australia on 28 December 2015. This new work is a continuation of an ongoing research project entitled 130912, which is a reflection of her intimate collection of thoughts and memories of her late husband who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on 13 September 2012. 281215 signifies her ability to finally let go and highlights her new life and love. This ritualistic performance-installation that experiments with elements of food, geography and culture, features her renewed existence, leading us to reflect on memory, time, parallelisms and the uncanny.
